(Photo by Prasit Tangprasert)Local authorities began floating the ashes of sandalwood flowers for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej in local waterways on Friday morning, following his cremation on Thursday night. After the merit making, the ashes of the cremation flowers were floated on the Pao River at Wat Chai Mongkol in Kamalasai district. They also sang the royal anthem and observed 89 (the age of the late King) seconds of silence, sending King Bhumibol on his journey to heaven.
